Thanks to help from a grant from GreaterGood.org, funded by the
iHeartDogs.com community, Brandywine Valley SPCA transported a
total of 171 animals from at-risk areas to Pennsylvania and
Delaware where they were adopted into new families quickly. One
such animal was Isabella.
Brandywine Valley SPCA
Isabella was transported with her sister Rihanna by Felines
& Canines Rescue Center in Chicago, IL, to West Chester, PA.
Mark and his son were delighted to adopt her. She was just what
they needed. They kept her name Isabella, and she has become the
son’s new best friend. Mark stated, “She’s already a member
of our family.”
This transport most likely saved Isabella’s life.
Sometimes a little more time can mean the difference between a life
with a loving family or a death alone. The Second
Chance Movement funds miles for dogs like Isabella, who are in
high-risk shelters, to the safety of a no-kill rescue. When you buy
